High School Sunday School Class

Hello, my name is Faron Danley and I am the teacher of the High School Sunday School Class at Washington Street Baptist Church. I am a business owner here in Stephenville. I moved here in 1982 to attend Tarleton State University. In 1983 I met Donna Stewart and in 1984 we got married. Donna was born and raised here in Stephenville and had attended WSBC all of her life. I was not a Christian when I met Donna but she was and we attended church regularly. I was very skeptical about Christians but after about 5 years of hearing the gospel every week I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior during a bible study given to me and my mom by Brother Earl Baugh, our pastor. Since then I have become a Sunday School teacher and a Deacon at our church. It is hard for me to believe that I have been saved for almost 20 years. I am now 46 years old. But I don’t feel like it and enjoy having fun with my 4 sons , Kenny, Cody, Kalin, and Kelly. Their ages are 20, 20, 16, and 9 in the same order. I also have fun with all of the kids at our church, just picking at them and getting picked on in return. Our church is small in number, but large in love. We would love to have you in our class as well as in our church services. My classes are very laid back and I encourage my students to speak up and share their thoughts as well. I am not any better or smarter than any of you and I have learned a lot from my students.

This is supposed to be a “Welcome to My Class” letter. So, “Welcome to my class!” We would be honored to have as many of you as would like to attend. My class is next to the fellowship hall which seats about 100 so bring all of your friends and we will break out into the fellowship hall. We also serve a meal every Sunday right after the morning message, so come on down!

P.S. My phone # is 965-7979 if you have any questions or if I can help you in any way.

Sincerely, Faron Danley.
